Located in the center of the Meursault Village, Marc Rougeot and his son Pierre-Henri farm 13 hectares of vines which has very recently gained official organic certification in 2020, largely thanks to Pierre-Henri who has been steering the ship towards natural, low-intervention wines since his return to the family Domaine in 2010. All of the wines produced are under villages: Meursault, Monthélie, St Romain, Pommard and Volnay. Pierre-Henri’s grandfather bought the domaine in the 19th century, which had originally been built to press fruit from the surroundings orchards for the Hospice de Beaune. Today, with Pierre-Henri at the helm, balancing low- intervention natural wine-making with classic Burgundian techniques,the wines produced are precise, energetic and profound.
